Flight Training Center

Come fly with your friends at the Osan Flight Training Center (FTC) located near the airstrip. The FTC provides flight training and recreational flying at a reasonable cost for its members. The knowledgeable staff meets the highest professional standards and will not compromise safety under any circumstance.

Membership in the Aero Club is open to the following:

There is a general initiation fee, plus low monthly dues for all members. If you present a letter of good standing from your prior Aero Club, your initiation fee can be waived. Members are required to attend a monthly safety meeting where topics of interest are discussed and we often have guest speakers.

The FTC offers members of the Osan community the opportunity to get their Federal Aviation Administration Private Pilot’s License (FAA). Certified flight instructors are available for flight and ground school. Instructor fees are charged by the hour. All necessary flying aids and study materials are available at the FTC. Ground school classes are offered to get you started in your aviation adventure. Classes are held at night and as often as demand requires.

Certified pilots are invited to join the FTC and do some flying in Korea. Day flying and cross-country flights are available to many places in the Republic of Korea and Japan. Come out and get a ‘bird’s-eye’ view of this beautiful country!

The Osan FTC has 7 Cessna 172’s and rental rates include fuel, oil and headsets.
